SHIPPING & REFUND POLICY – AussieBuy

This Shipping & Refund Policy outlines how AussieBuy (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles order delivery, delays, returns and refunds in compliance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


A. SHIPPING POLICY

1. Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day.


2. Shipping Times

Estimated delivery timeframes:

Metro Areas 2–5 business days
Regional Areas 3–8 business days
Remote Areas 5–14 business days

These are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, public holidays, extreme weather or peak seasons.


3. Shipping Partners

We ship using reputable Australian couriers such as:

  • Australia Post

  • Aramex

  • CouriersPlease

  • Toll

  • Fastway

Courier selection depends on item size, weight and destination.


4. Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive:

  • Tracking number

  • Courier name

  • Tracking link

You can monitor delivery progress through the courier’s website.


5. Delivery Issues

Please contact us immediately at sales@aussiebuy.com.au if:

  • Your parcel is lost

  • You receive a “delivered” notification but did not receive it

  • The item arrives damaged

  • Delivery is significantly delayed

We will liaise with the courier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


6. Incorrect Address

If an incorrect or incomplete shipping address is provided:

  • Re-delivery costs may apply

  • The order may be returned to our warehouse

AussieBuy is not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect address information.



B. REFUND POLICY

AussieBuy complies with the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if the product:

  • Is faulty or defective

  • Arrives damaged

  • Is significantly different from the description

  • Was sent incorrectly


1. Returns Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • You must contact us within 30 days of receiving your item.

  • The item must be in original packaging unless faulty.

  • A Return Authorisation (RA) number must be issued.

2. Change of Mind

Change of mind returns are not guaranteed and require approval.
If accepted:

  • Item must be unused and unopened

  • Return shipping costs apply

  • A restocking fee may apply depending on product type


3. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item is damaged or defective:

  1. Email us within 7 days of delivery

  2. Provide photos/videos of the issue

  3. Provide your order number

  4. We will arrange replacement, refund, or store credit


4. Refund Processing

Refunds are issued back to your original payment method within:

  • 3–7 business days after we receive and inspect the return


5. Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, these items cannot be returned:

  • Clearance or “Final Sale” items

  • Personal care items

  • Used products (unless faulty)

  • Items missing original packaging (not applicable to faults)


6. Return Shipping

  • If the item is faulty or incorrect → AussieBuy covers return shipping.

  • If it is change of mind → Customer covers return shipping.


7. Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled before they are processed.
Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled and must follow the return procedure.
